UPS is teh suck

I ordered something off of Crucial failing to realize they used UPS (which I have deemed the worst shipper I have ever seen). Out of 6 orders in the past year, with UPS, 3 went perfectly fine, 1 was lost for a month (yes, a month... 'oh, we are sorry but we have to follow our procedures -- you are welcome to drive there yourself' is what they said), and 2 were delayed by a week.

I've lost faith in not only their reliability but customer service as well who basically just regurgitate what the shipping page says with merely an ounce of extra information ('Looks like the place was late').

Perhaps it's just my luck... but I've deemed UPS full of morans (yes, I know how it's *supposed* to be spelled... but this is funnier).

I've emailed Crucial to see if I can use someone else next time I order from them. If I can't, then I suppose I'll have to go elsewhere.

I was hoping to put it in and give Microsoft Vista another shot... but I suppose I won't, since Vista REALLY likes having a metric-fuck-ton of memory for developing (which I plan on coding for .NET 3.x).

edit: I should also mention I am not the only one that has been shafted by them. I know GK and EM (during the hurricane) have been on the bad side, but I don't remember how bad it's been. I know Ed got *highly* ticked for some stupid thing they did, I think (don't hold me to it) they were going to ship it back to the sender effectively saying 'you weren't there to cpik it up' or something.
